Is for the young dancers that are growing up! This is a 1-hour class that meets once per week.  Students are either entering kindergarten or 1^st grade, however they must be 5 years old by Dec. 5^th to begin at this level and be evaluated.  It is in this class that our skills become refined while the disciplines of classical ballet such as respecting each other; the teacher and the ballet room are gracefully emphasized.

Musicality and rhythm are linked together with age appropriate steps like skips, gallops and jumps that slowly become combinations across the floor.  These young ballerinas are beginning to feel the true joy of dancing while gaining the self-confidences necessary to succeed in this art form.

Parents, it’s through our “Star Reward Poster System” that you will be able to motor your child’s progress at home too.

Structure, we feel, is very important for the constant growing minds to learn.  We encourage the dancers in this level to begin to take stretch and conditioning to continue to build a strong core that every dancer needs.
