is the first step to uninhibited independence in a classical ballet class. This is a 45-minute class, which is generally taken once per week, although some dancers prefer to take it more often.  Students can generally begin these lessons at age 3, as long as they are potty trained.

Large and small motor skills are expected to be challenged in this class right along side of developing expression of their creativity.  This class has a bit more structure and directions to follow then younger one with mom, as we are developing the disciplines that go hand in hand with dance.  Pre-Ballet is taught in a “Pied Piper” type of way, while teaching the proper French vocabulary that accompanies classical ballet.

Guiding the children through their lessons while they dream of  “Sugar Plums” and becoming a beautiful ballerina is our forte at Rancho Ballet.

This is also the level where our adopted program “The Enchanted Doorway” is introduced for a new and exciting summer adventure each week!
