BALLET LEVEL 2: Is the second of three beginning levels in our upper school.  Students generally begin this level when they have promoted from ballet level 1 or had a placement class.  This class level is taken twice a week for an hour and 15 minutes each lesson held on Mon & Wed evenings.

During this year in their dance education the dancers are truly beginning to move, gracefully!  It s so exciting to watch them develop a higher lever of thinking allowing them to creating a greater level of classical ballet movement, artistry and musicality.  We do focus a lot in this level on the connecting steps in ballet while our French vocabulary continues to broaden.  We have built a good “foundation” to stand on in the previous level, making it easier to advance while having fun!

Performance Awards have become an annual excitement as we advance to a higher level and anticipate successes as we work hard for our certificate and medals of achievements.  There is also tons of excitement as we wait for the casting to be posted for the full-length ballet produced at the end of our year in June.
